We are a network of end-of-life scholars from Europe. Our network was formally established in 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland after working together previously. We study the end-of-life from predominantly a legal perspective, but also philosophy, medicine, sociology, criminal law, psychiatry.

Through collaborative, interdisciplinary, data-led approaches, for the first 5 years of our operation focus on assisted dying, as a currently very topical end-of-life practice, and contribute to:
discourse and debate on assisted dying taking place at all levels, not just among professionals, but also the public. It involves thinking, communicating, planning, deliberating on assisted dying.
assisted dying regulation and its implementation (pre-legislation, during legislation, and post-legislation).
supporting all those involved with assisted dying (in hospitals, hospices, at home, in court, in Parliaments).
